The MKA 1919 is a semi-automatic, 12 gauge shotgun manufactured in Turkey by Ekson Arms featuring a conventional, self-adjusting gas operated action. Designed to look and handle like an AR-15, it is very light, ergonomic and magazine fed. The upper receiver is manufactured from an aluminum alloy while the lower receiver, pistol grip and stock are manufactured as one piece from impact resistant polymer. Familiar AR-15/M16 configuration features and controls include right side magwell magazine release, bolt stop, left side bolt release, and detachable box magazine (5 shells). The manual safety also duplicates the M16 style being located on the left side of the receiver above the pistol grip. The top of the receiver has a removable carrying handle and integral Picatinny rail underneath for mounting optical accessories. The combination of the popular AR style with features of a semi-automatic shotgun creates a practicable, dependable firearm you can count on! Comes with two 5 rd. metal mags. and 3 internal chokes.
